What to Bring to a Swim Meet
Swimmers:
- Swim Bag
- Caps & Goggles
- Towels
- Chair
- Bug Spray & Sunscreen
- Small Cooler for Snacks and Drinks
- Healthy Snacks & Drinks (Very Important to stay HYDRATED)
- Example: Fresh Fruit/Veggies, Protein Bars, Sandwich, Crackers, etc.
- Water, Gatorade, etc. Stay away from junk food and sugary drinks and snacks
- Cash for Concessions (Optional)
- Small “Ready Bench Area” activities – (Books, Coloring Books, Cards, etc)
- NOTE: Electronics are allowed, but at your own risk.
- Please be sure to LABEL EVERYTHING
Parents:
- Chairs
- Small Cooler
- Snacks & Drinks
- Cash for Concessions & Heat Sheet (All event info for Meet) (Optional)
- Bug Spray, Sunscreen, Hat, Sunglasses (The mosquitoes can be trouble at night meets!)
- Pop up Tent - if you have one. These can be used for the swimmer(s) Ready Bench Area or additional coverage for spectators.
- Please note: Your swimmer(s) must stay in their Ready Bench Area AT ALL TIMES during the meet. Parent Volunteers are responsible for them!
- Please sit elsewhere at the pool to get a great view of your swimmer(s).
