What to Bring to a Swim Meet

Swimmers:

  • Swim Bag
  • Caps & Goggles
  • Towels
  • Chair
  • Bug Spray & Sunscreen
  • Small Cooler for Snacks and Drinks
  • Healthy Snacks & Drinks (Very Important to stay HYDRATED)
    • Example: Fresh Fruit/Veggies, Protein Bars, Sandwich, Crackers, etc.
  • Water, Gatorade, etc. Stay away from junk food and sugary drinks and snacks
  • Cash for Concessions (Optional)
  • Small “Ready Bench Area” activities – (Books, Coloring Books, Cards, etc)
  • NOTE: Electronics are allowed, but at your own risk.
  • Please be sure to LABEL EVERYTHING

Parents:

  • Chairs
  • Small Cooler
  • Snacks & Drinks
  • Cash for Concessions & Heat Sheet (All event info for Meet) (Optional)
  • Bug Spray, Sunscreen, Hat, Sunglasses (The mosquitoes can be trouble at night meets!)
  • Pop up Tent - if you have one. These can be used for the swimmer(s) Ready Bench Area or additional coverage for spectators.
  • Please note: Your swimmer(s) must stay in their Ready Bench Area AT ALL TIMES during the meet. Parent Volunteers are responsible for them! 
  • Please sit elsewhere at the pool to get a great view of your swimmer(s).
